What did you like about your stay in the property or location?
A grand house, beautifully restored and maintained. The rooms were lovely and spacious, well appointed with period features. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice and cooked freshly to order. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was in its own grounds with views from each bedroom at the end of a lovely country lane. It was quiet with hardly any traffic and certainly no noise inside or outside the hotel.
What did you not like about your stay in the property or location?
Not easy to find the first time (sat nav was mystified and took us a long way around but the hotel owner told us a better route when we arrived). Our shower was a little tired and could do with replacing. Otherwise everything was excellent and we would stay again if we were in the area.
